walking to Urkios...Jenny, Isaac, Igor & Rosy ~ Wayapama, Sacred Valley
Saturday we finally made it out to Calca with our friend Mario… as I’ve written before he’s also serving as a need greater & has been living in the Sacred Valley for the past 6 months. SO… we finally went after many invitations!
It was so gorgeous there! We LOVED it!!! We worked with the invitations for the District Convention coming up here in Cusco so we were able to cover quite a bit of territory.
We preached in the country about 20 minutes outside of Calca. First we worked this little town called Wayapampa… Then walked FOREVER… like a couple of kilometers to another pueblo called Urkios (sp?) and it was just as pretty.. well not particularly the town itself but the surroundings! LOL Thankfully we stopped to rest (once) and ate lunch. We stayed until 3:00pm then headed back to Cusco.
